How our classes work
1. Choosing a class
Click a class title on the Government & education learning center page to find out more about a class that interests you.
The class overview page includes a description of the class, the session start and end dates, the instructor's objectives for the class, and a list of lessons included in the class.

2. Enrolling
You need to enroll in a class to access the lessons, Message Board, and other great features.
To enroll, click the Enroll button next to the class session that interests you. If the site prompts you to sign in, complete the registration process if you are a new user, or sign in if you are a returning user.

3. Class sessions and lessons
A class session is the time period when a class is offered.
Lessons for a specific class are listed at the bottom of the Class Overview page.
Once a lesson has posted, it remains accessible 24/7 until the class End Date. The class ends about two weeks after the last lesson has posted.

4. Instructor
HP online instructors are subject matter experts who enjoy teaching and interacting with students. Among them are award-winning authors, technlogy leaders, and professionals.
Click on the instructor's name in the Available Sessions box on the class overview page to learn more about the instructor.
During a class session, you can use the Message Board to get help from your instructor or converse with other students about the topics covered in the class.

5. Reminders
When you enroll in a class, you will receive an email confirmation that your enrollment was successful. We will also send you email on the days that new lessons post to remind you to return to the class to review the latest information.
